It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has normal distribution of letters.
We have members who:
Are just starting their business (or maybe even just starting it in their mind!) -- or have years of experience as entrepreneurs
Own their own business -- or are employed by a business
What we all have in common is a desire to learn, mentor and move up to the next level -- to become the best we can be.
We participate with WomenTies and WISE, acknowledging that women can be stronger and make greater strides by all working and supporting each other, and not staying in silos. We also support the new CNY United Way initiative to support women.

WBOC holds a monthly meeting for the full membership and guests. The program year spans from September thru June.
All of these meeting but the following have an educational focus:
The December meeting is traditionally our WBOC Holiday Party & Auction.
Our April meeting is a free networking event hosted by WBOC, WISE Business Center and Syracuse WOMAN magazine.
Our June meeting is a celebration of the past year, and the program spotlights three members, who describe their journey related to the theme of the year.
Networking takes place before and after each meeting.
Program Meetings are held at:
Collegian Hotel & Suites
1060 E. Genesee St.
Syracuse, New York 13210
Please confirm the location on our schedule. Occasionally the meeting is moved.

A more intimate way to meet and learn about each other and WBOC is by attending our monthly Open House Meet & Greet.
The main purpose of the Meet & Greet is to provide a way for potential and existing members to review the benefits available to them. Included:
Overview of the different types of meetings and how to make the most of your participation.
Marketing opportunities available to members.
Networking opportunities available.
All Member Meet & Greets are held virtually. Please register for link.
There is no charge to attend.

Connections Meetings are an opportunity to get together with a small group of WBOC exclusive members led by a host over a “dutch-treat” lunch or breakfast for the purpose of establishing stronger professional relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity to talk in more detail about yourself and your business to other members of WBOC.
Attendance numbers are determined by the host. To attend, you need to register.
If you are a member and interested in hosting a Connections Meeting, please email [email protected] for next steps.
Display your business card and other promotional materials at our Resource Table that is set up at each Educational Program.
Guests of active members can attend their first meeting for $10, a discount of $15.
Active members are listed in the WBOC Membership Directory found on the website. Members are free to update their profile and business information as necessary. The Directory can be very useful to connect with other members.
Host a Connections meeting and also have the opportunity to announce the meeting and present your business during a five-minute "Spotlight" at the beginning of our Educational Program.
Email [email protected] for next steps.
You can have an ad for your business placed on the monthly Educational Flyer that is distributed throughout the community prior to each program. The $25 fee is used to provide enhanced programming.
WBOC actively uses email and social media to keep our membership up to date. News, meeting notifications and reminders, and special events are regularly communicated through various channels.
A "members-only" benefit - members can post needs and others can assist, whether it's a need for a referral, advice or just support. Follow this link to access the forum (you will be asked to login).
Members may be a Program Sponsor for $100, a $150 discount off the non-member price. Sponsorship comes with significant exposure prior to and at the program. Learn more about Program Sponsorship
As a member of WBOC, you may attend any Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce events under our WBOC membership ($115 annual value). Register for their events as a member.
